A former 3rd Vice President of the Nigerian Bar Association Barth Aniche Okoye, has said that it is a welcoming idea to have Chief Gani Fawehinmi memorial lectures in remembrance of the late legal sage.

He also said that Gani Fawehimni, SAN, in his lifetime contributed immensely to the development of our law, the law, and legal jurisprudence.
His statement partly reads: “I salute the Ikeja branch (Tiger branch) of the NBA for this memorial lectures and urge lawyers to imbibe the courage exhibited by Chief Gani Fawehinmi.
“Wishing all of us a fruitful outing,” he added.
