THE NIGERIAN BAR ASSOCIATION, OTA BRANCH (UTTER BRANCH) received with rude shock the passing away of ITS past branch secretary and former member of the NBA NEC, Mr. Adeleke Adeniran Esq. Whose death occurred on Monday 1st of July, 2019.

Until his sad departure, Mr. Adeleke Adeniran not only served the branch diligently and relentlessly but also ensured he exhibited a high level of participation and dedication to activities of the branch and NBA nationwide.

According to the chairman of the Branch, Mr. Isaac Omuta Ogbah, he described his death as a great loss to the branch and a big vacuum which may not be easily filled by any member of the Utter Bar.

Members of the branch executive had earlier on Monday visited his family to commiserate with them on the death of their beloved son.

Presently, members of the Nigerian Bar Association has been expressing their heartfelt condolences to the family in addition to expressing what his death meant to tnem.individually and to the noble legal profession in General.

Quoting A. A Ade. ESQ., one of the past national national welfare officers of NBA,

“Mr. Adeleke Adeniran joined me in some of my campaign trips early 2016 until he was disqualified in June, 2016. He was a jolly good fellow. I recalled how passionate he was about his aspiration even though I and some other Bar leaders were the ones that advised him to consider Financial Secretary against his original choice of Publicity Secretary since our friend and brother, Kunle Edun was also interested in the same office. He humbly took our advice and in good faith. He thereafter pursued his campaign for the office of Financial Secretary with some weird doggedness as he always travelled by road, sometimes with night bus to meet up with campaign outings. He was a member of this platform until ill health denied him the opportunity of continuous participation. God knows best why he took you at this time Mr. Adeniran. My condolences to your family, friends and colleagues, Ota Branch of the Nigerian Bar Association and all your aqcuintances. May the good Lord grant you eternal rest in His bosom. Rest In Peace”

Also. KUNLE EDUN, present NBA publicity secretary, in his tribute stated inter alia: “Ha egbon Leke!!!! Why death?. He was once an aspirant for the office of National Financial Secretary of the NBA in the 2016 NBA elections. We went the rounds together. Bros, Rest in Peace.”

Also. T. G. ADEOSUN, Past Chairman, NBA Ota had this to say concerning the departed colleague:

“The EXCOS 2014- 2016 on which Leke Adeniran served as the Secretary commiserates with the family, EXCOS and entire NBA OTA Bar on the death of LEKE ADENIRAN (ESQ) early this morning. To state that Adeniran Esq contributed tremendously is an understatement. He loved the Bar, he showed dogged commitment to the welfare of the Ota Bar. He would sorely be missed. May the good Lord repose his soul”

Also commen th jn om yhe denise of this loved legal icon, the NBA Abeokuta Branch Chairman, Emmanuel Olu-Alade said as follows:

“Leke Adeniran gave his best to the enthronement of peace and justice. We will surely missed him. Adieu. Heartfelt condolences to Ota Bar.”

The National Welfare Officer. J. B. Usman Esq. On behalf of the President of NBA, Paul Usoro SAN, has called both to console witj the family as well as with the entire members of NBA. OTA BRANCH.

May his soul rest in perfect peace.
