Omoku Branch of Nigerian Bar Association has elected new executives to steer the affairs of the branch in the next 2 years.

Members of the Omoku Branch held their branch elections on Friday 28th June 2019 at their new Secretariat Complex/Bar Centre under construction in Omoku.

According to a Member, Electoral Committee, C.S. Onyimah, the position of the branch chairman was keenly contested and at the end of voting, Valentine Amaechi Odili Esq. polled 23 votes to defeat the other two contenders Obulor Jackson Dike Esq. and Chikodi Elendu Esq. who polled 13 and 12 votes respectively. 

Other officers elected to the branch executive are:
2. Ezidi Fabulous Onyemauche Esq elected as Vice Chairman. Elected as Secretary is Ekeledinichukwu Ordu Esq. & Odila I. Gloria Esq. as Welfare Secretary.

Others are Dike Ibra Esq. Treasurer. Jackson Chinedu Kenneth as Financial Secretary, Okirie Azubuike Esq as Legal Adviser, Nwagwe Benjamin Kingsley Esq as Publicity Secretary, Osiah Chukwuladi Esq as Assistant Secretary and Owhor Helen as Provost.

The election was free and fair and those who lost accepted defeat and warmly congratulated the winners.

The elected executives were thereafter sworn in by Nnamdi C.O. Gabriel Esq. Notary Public.
