Audu Bukarti Writes EFCC, Request CTC of The Result of The Forensic Investigation of Ganduje Bribery Video

In the letter dated the 11th day of February, 2019, sighted by TheNigerialawyer (TNL), Mr. Bukarti informed the Commission that he was informed publicly on the 23rd day of November, 2018 at Queen Mary university of London that they were in London to, among other things, perform forensic analysis of the video. “As you may recall, you informed me publicly on the 23rd day of November, 2018 at Queen Mary University of London that you were in London to, among other things, perform forensic analysis of the said video,” he said. According to him, the application is made pursuant to Section 1 of the Freedom of Information Act, 2011, hence, the need why his request should be granted, as he has the right under the law to do same. He, is therefore asking that the commission avail him the said video within 7days of the receipt of the letter, failure which will leave him with no other option than to proceed with the relevant provisions of the Act. Recall that a video had been earlier circulated showing Governor Abdulahi Umar Ganduje of Kano State allegedly receiving bribe for some contracts. ]]>
