TNL gathered that due to the establishment of the force, there is the likelihood of increase of Police Checkpoints in the state beginning from Monday, the 29th day of October 2018. “Expect an increase of police checkpoints beginning Monday due to establishment of a Lagos State special task force to ensure vehicles are meeting Lagos roadworthiness standards. “The Task Force (TF) has stated that vehicles not meeting these standards may be impounded. “Drivers are advised to have their paperwork in order. “Diplomatic plated vehicles should not be stopped at these checkpoints, however, please approach the checkpoints in a slow, deliberate manner.
