The announcement, aimed at aspiring law students, outlines the process for registering and meeting requirements for the Nigerian Law School program.

Students are directed to visit www.remita.net to initiate payments. The process includes:

  • Selecting “Pay TSA/FGN & STATE” and choosing “FGN: Federal Government of Nigeria.”
  • Opting for “PAY A BILLER” and entering “COUNCIL OF LEGAL EDUCATION” as the payee.
  • Choosing “BAR PART I – NIGERIAN” from the “SERVICE/PURPOSE” dropdown.
  • Describing the payment as “Bar Part One Tuition Fees.”
  • Entering an amount of ₦351,000, the student’s full name (surname first), and completing all required details.
  • Completing the transaction using an ATM card or via any bank branch.

This streamlined process ensures accessibility for students across Nigeria.

Registration Requirements

To complete registration, candidates must submit the following:

  • Printout of provisional/full admission status.
  • Evidence of school fees payment (payment receipt).
  • A valid means of identification, including an International Passport, Driver’s Licence, NIN Slip, or Voter’s Card.
  • Resident Permit for the country where the LL.B was obtained (if applicable).
  • Admission Letter.
  • Passport Photographs.
