*Salutes Branches Leadership On Occasion of Their Law Weeks
*Says Laws Must Be Implemented With Patriotism And Equality

A Former Chairman of the Nigerian Bar Association Lokoja branch, Liman Salihu has saluted the Bwari, Bauchi and Minna branches of the Association on the occasion of its 2022 Law Week.
In a goodwill message made available to TheNigeriaLawyer, Salihu described the themes of the branches as apt and well thought-out saying it will deepen the practice of law of participants and guests.
The theme of the NBA Minna Law Week is “Law and Democracy, Progress, Challenges, and Prospects”, that of Bauchi is “2023 Transition in Nigeria and its issues: Learned Minds and the Path to Follow”.
The Bwari branch law week is themed: “An appraisal of Electoral Act 2022: Likely Impact if any on free and credible elections in 2023.
In the goodwill message, Salihu also commended the branches for coming up with the thought provoking themes while wishing them the best of deliberations.

It gives me great joy to use this opportunity to salute the Leadership and members of the Minna, Bauchi and Bwari branches of the NBA on the occasion of their Law Week.
The theme for Minna branch is “Law and Democracy, Progress, Challenges, and Prospects”, that of Bauchi branch is ” 2023 Transition in Nigeria and its issues: Learned Minds and the Path to Follow” while that of Bwari branch is An appraisal of the Electoral Act 2022: Likely impact if any on free and credible Elections in 2023.
I have no doubt in my mind that, these themes would not only be dealt with by the array of speakers but will better deepen the practice of law of participants and guests.
I must place on record that, our laws should be implemented with patriotism and equality and no one should be above the law no matter what.
I therefore commend members of the two branches for coming up with these thought provoking themes.
