TikTok sensation and content creator, Habeeb Hamzat, popularly known as Peller, has announced that he has secured admission to study law at a university in Lagos State.

In a video that has since gone viral on Saturday, Peller expressed excitement over his admission and responded to critics who had previously mocked his educational background.

The video showed him walking into a building with a statue of justice positioned at the entrance, as he suggested that his enrolment marked a turning point in how he should be perceived.

Peller said he had been admitted into a “private university in Lagos” but declined to disclose the name of the institution.

“Everyone has been criticising me for not being educated, as if I’m the first person who didn’t attend university. Now, all of you should leave social media, because I’m in school,” he said.

“I’m now studying law, you can see it, right? You can’t mess with me anymore. I know the law,” he added.

Recall that the TikToker has, over the years, faced criticism online, with some describing him as “lousy and uneducated.”

Earlier this month, Peller disclosed plans to further his education, saying the move was partly aimed at improving his “bad” spoken English.

More recently, he has been in the spotlight following controversy surrounding the visit of American streamer IShowSpeed to Nigeria.

Peller was prevented from meeting IShowSpeed by the streamer’s security team while attempting to approach him for a possible collaboration.

Despite repeated attempts, the Nigerian content creator was turned away.

He later made another effort to draw IShowSpeed’s attention by riding on a horse and calling out to him, but appeared to be ignored again.

After the incident, Peller accused members of the security team of demanding money before granting him access to the streamer.

“Bouncer dey tell me say make I bring N1 million to see IShowSpeed. Imagine. Na so e dey collect money from the remaining people. You wicked oh. Una do me strong thing. Make I bring N1m to see IShowSpeed for what reason?” he said.
