The International Bar Association (IBA) has announced the opening of applications for its 2026 Annual Conference scholarships, aimed at supporting young lawyers, typically aged 35 or under, who face financial constraints.

The event is scheduled to hold from 4–9 October 2026 in Copenhagen, Denmark.
Recipients of the scholarship will enjoy significant benefits, including waived conference registration fees, accommodation, travel contributions, and two years of free IBA membership. Additionally, awardees may receive a waiver for next year’s Annual Conference or a specialist conference fee.
To apply, candidates must submit an essay, project proposal, or presentation, along with an English language certificate. The deadline for submission is Monday, 4 May 2026, at 23:59 BST.
