*Commends NBA Enugu Branch For Celebrating The Lives Of The Senior Lawyers
*Says Honor Ought To Be Given To Whom It Is Due
*Says They Deserved The Honour

The Chairman of the Welfare Committee of the Nigerian Bar Association, Yakubu Chonoko Maikyau, SAN has congratulated the trio of Chief Anthony O. Mogboh, SAN; Echie L.M.E. Ezeofor; and Dr. E.E.J. Okereke who were celebrated by the Enugu Branch of NBA.

In a Goodwill message made available to TheNigeriaLawyer, Maikyau said the three senior lawyers deserved the honour bestowed on them.

He said, “I congratulate the leadership and members of Enugu Branch of the NBA on the special occasion of the celebration of the remarkable lives of some of its forerunners – Chief Anthony O. Mogboh, SAN; Echie L.M.E. Ezeofor; and Dr. E.E.J. Okereke.

“Honour ought to be given to whom it is due and these great men, without doubt, deserve the honour that Enugu Branch has bestowed on them for their very many years of service and dedication to the Bar.”

Maikyau also expressed the belief that the Association will continue to consult and tap from the three senior lawyers. He also thank them for their continues service to the Association

“I join the Enugu Branch and indeed the NBA to celebrate these great men and wish them many more years in tremendous health and prosperity. Not to be Oliver Twist, but I hazard a guess that the Bar will continue to consult these leaders and tap into their wealth of experience for the benefit of the Bar. We thank them in advance for the continuous service to the Association.

“Congratulations once again to these great men and to the Enugu Branch of the NBA.

God bless Enugu Branch of the NBA!
God bless the NBA!!
God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria!!!” Maikyau said
