*Wishes Members Journey Mercies.

Y.C. Maikyau, SAN, has congratulated the newly elected Governing Council of the Eastern Bar Forum (EBF).

Easter Bar Forum (EBF), on Saturday during its quarterly meeting held in Enugu, elected the Executive Council of the Forum.

“May I most sincerely express my heartfelt congratulations to the newly elected Governing Council of the Eastern Bar Forum {EBF}, led by the Governor-General, Chief Uba Anene Esq.

“I commend the forum on this latest success in conducting a rancor-free election and transition. I also look forward to seeing a replication of this feat amongst similar fora, and branch elections.

“I am convinced that today will only be the first of many proud moments for the newly elected executives. Thus, I charge the new Governing Council, to roll up their sleeves and hit the ground running, so as to deliver on the mandate that has been bestowed upon them by the 45 branches that constitute the Forum.

“It is important to note that “the talent of success is nothing more than doing what you can do well, and doing well whatever you do”. Now, having accepted to serve, I implore you to do so well and build on the good legacies of your predecessors.

“Once again, accept my most sincere congratulations.

He also wished the members safe travels to their destinations.

“On this note, I wish all members and observers who attended the meeting, safe travels to their various destinations.

“God bless the Eastern Bar Forum (EBF)! God bless the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA)!! God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria!!!”.
