*Calls For The Disbarment of Imo Lawyer and Commissioner For Public Complaints Commission

A veteran Nollywood actress and an acclaimed director, Mrs. Hilda Dokubo, has called for the disbarment of Mr. Willie Amadi, a lawyer and the Federal Commissioner of Imo State, office of the Public Complaints Commission, following an allegation of conspiracy to commit perjury and unlawful arrest, Prosecution and conviction of a twenty (20) years old youth, Peter Nwoke.

The veteran actress made her considered views known via a viral video she uploaded on her Twitter handle — @dokubohilda, on the 29th of January, 2021. Mrs. Hilda Dokubo wondered amongst others, how Mr. Willie Amadi was able to threaten or compensate Peter Nwoke in other for the latter to take the fall for the Imo Born Commissioner.

Hilda Dokubo, countering the development insisted that the young man could not have committed such a crime because there is no technology at the moment that one can use to superimpose a photo on a video or motion picture.

In the 4 minutes clip, the veteran actress stated that from her experience in the film industry since 1992, it is impossible to superimpose a photo on a video or motion picture. She went on to say that assuming it is possible, a green screen is needed and that Willie Amadi needs to be with that green screen which in that case will make him part of the conspiracy.

“What kind of compensation and or threat made a 20yr old jeopardize his future bagging a 12-month prison sentence by confessing to an obvious lie? The mirror holds the truth. The technology to perform this level of seamless superimposing of still picture on motion picture does not exist! And the knowledge and manpower required to do it? Will need more than the black panther team.#whoisfoolingwho’ she noted.

She further noted that the technology that would have enable Peter to alter or comprise the video in question does not exist. For her, the technology to superimpose a still shot [of a photo taken by the swimming pool] to a motion shot [at a sex scene] doesn’t exist up till date, and that even if such a technology were to be used, it would require a lot of ‘cuts’ in-between each clip of the video, or even the use of a green background, but those would only be possible with the co-operation of Mr. Willie Amadi, for such an act to play out, hence making him part of the ‘criminality’.

She also bemoaned the fact that it is surprising that within just two weeks of the release of the video, a suspect was identified, arrested, investigated and convicted while a case on Imo State Elections still lingers at the Supreme Court from 2019 till date. She also made reference to a clip of the Commissioner where he was seen saying that the less privileged cannot really afford justice as they don’t have the financial wherewithal to do so. She explained that Mr. Willie Amadi knows this fully and further exploited it to his advantage.

She further posited that she wondered how much the boy was paid and went on to strongly call out Mr Willie Amadi to come out boldly and take the fall as it is incumbent on him to do so and desist from subjecting an innocent soul to injustice.

Recall that, early into the month of January, 2021, a sex scene video went viral on the internet, the twelve [12] seconds video captures the Federal Commissioner of Imo State, Office of the Public Complaints Commission, Willie Amadi, and two [unidentified] ladies in a sex romp [threesome].  However, contrary to public expectation, one Peter Nwoke was said to have been arrested and convicted, just under two [2] weeks, based on a purported confessional statement he made, wherein he alleged that he [Nwoke] Masterminded the video and altered the origin video by including the Imo Commissioner into the scene. He was upon conviction sentence to twelve months imprisonment on grounds of criminal defamation of character and blackmail. However, the arrested and conviction has generated a whole lot of mix reaction, especially with regards the honesty of the confessional statement, as well as the speed of the arrest, Investigation, trial and conviction.
