Says, Some Of The Judges Who Dismissed The Cases Were Appointed On Nomination Of Donald Trump

A prominent human rights lawyer and Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Mr. Femi Falana, has expressed dismay on the attitude of some senior lawyers and courts in Nigeria who prolong cases through endless adjournments.

In a statement made available to TheNigeriaLawyer titled “ELECTION PETITIONS., WHY IS NIGERIA’S CASE SADLY DIFFERENT”, said in the United States of America, 62 election petition cases were heard within just two months

According to him, some of the judges who dismissed the cases were appointed on the nomination of the same Donald Trump

“In Nigeria, senior Lawyers are allowed to pursue matters endlessly. The courts indulge them by adjoining the cases endlessly.

“In less than 2 months the courts in the United States heard and determined 62 election petitions filed by the misguided legal team of President Trump. Some of the judges who dismissed the cases were appointed on the nomination of President Trump.” Falana said

The human rights lawyer also said, “Not less than 1000 judges and lawyers have submitted petitions against some of Trump’s lawyers for pursuing frivolous election petitions!”
