*Says APC Will Take Over Benue In 2023

Former Attorney-General of the Federal (AGF) and Minister of Justice, Chief Micheal Aondoakaa, has told The Nation, Not TheNigerialawyer he will create wealth and employment through agriculture for youths if elected as governor of Benue State in 2023.

In a telephone interview to marked 10 years as a major rice producer in West Africa, chief Aondoakaa, who is chairman, Board of Directors of MIKAP Nigeria Limited, producers of Miva Rice, stated that his exploits as a major rice miller in the country has propelled him to seek election to become the governor of Benue State, so that he can replicate same at wider level.

He said Benue as the food basket of the nation has no reason not to create wealth and generate employment through agriculture.

The APC governorship aspirant said as governor of Benue, he will also give priority to agric processing, mechanism and export to generate foreign earnings.

He commended President Muhammadu Buhari and the Governor of Central Bank CBN, Godwin Emiefele for empowering rice farmers through the Anchor Borrowers programme, saying “Rice farmers are now smiling to the bank.

“From the performances of President Muhammadu Buhari, I am confident that Nigeria and Benue in particular will vote APC come 2023,” he said.
