Says Impeachment Of Ondo Deputy Governor Is Sub Judice

The Chief Judge of Ondo State, Justice Oluwatoyin Akeredolu, says the State House of Assembly did not complete the constitutional procedures that would enable her set up a seven-man probe panel against Agboola Ajayi, the embattled Deputy Governor of the state.

This is contained in a letter obtained by TheNigeriaLawyer (TNL) dated 9th July, 2020 signed by the Chief Judge herself.

Justice Akeredolu, stating her position on why the letter was rejected said the house has not completed required constitutional process that will warrant her setting up the panel adding that the Deputy Governor was not given fair hearing and the matter is sub judice
