*WHEN CAN AN OWNER OF PROPERTY ARREST A SUSPECT. *
Any owner of a property, as well as his servants and agents can arrest any person found committing an offence that injures the property. The arrest can be made with or without a warrant.
For example, a person breaking window glasses, urinating on wall or posting banners on walls or trying to burn down property.
My authorities are sections 21, 494 and 495 of the Administration of Criminal Justice Act, 2015 and other similar laws across States in Nigeria.
