Yakubu Philemon, SAN, has announced that he has been successfully cleared to contest for the position of Chairman of the Abuja Branch of the Nigerian Bar Association, popularly known as the Unity Bar.

In a statement following his clearance, Philemon described the development as the beginning of a greater responsibility and a deeper commitment to service.

He expressed profound gratitude to God Almighty, as well as to colleagues and well-wishers, for their confidence, encouragement and support.

According to him, his aspiration is driven by the vision of building a more united, purposeful and forward-moving Unity Bar, where the voice and aspirations of every member truly matter.

“Today marks the beginning of a greater responsibility and a deeper commitment to service. I, Yakubu Philemon, SAN, am profoundly honoured to have been successfully cleared to contest for the position of Chairman of the Abuja Branch (Unity Bar) of the Nigerian Bar Association,” he said.

Philemon added that he remains inspired by the support received so far and committed to advancing the interests of members of the branch if elected.
