The Special Visitation Panel set up by the Federal Government to look into the crisis rocking the University of Lagos (UNILAG), on Monday began it’s sitting behind closed doors and collated memoranda submitted by members of the public.

The panel, which has two weeks to submit its report, had issued a notice calling for memoranda shortly after its inauguration on Wednesday, last week by the Education Minister, Mallam Adamu Adamu.

It was observed that the box, where the memoranda were dropped was emptied and taken into the Chambers at about 2 pm in accordance with the time given by the panel.

The whole process was hitch-free as the Campus patrol Policemen from Sabo Police Division were seen around the Council Chamber.
