The FCT High Court, Life Camp, Abuja, has adjourned the trial of Nigerian rapper Tochukwu Ojogwu, popularly known as Odumodublvck, in a civil suit for assault and battery until April 8, 2026.

The adjournment came during proceedings on Tuesday due to ongoing renovations in the courtroom. Both the claimant’s counsel, Uchenna Ojembe, and the defendant’s counsel, Taiwo Akinsulie, agreed on the new date to facilitate the smooth commencement of the trial.

The suit was instituted by Nigerian musician Ogbogiri Okey Levi, popularly known as Kraziecent, who alleged that Odumodublvck violently assaulted him during a public event in December 2024. Kraziecent claims that while he was peacefully taking pictures and videos, the rapper attacked him, causing emotional distress and damaging his iPhone 15 Pro Max.

In the civil suit, Kraziecent is seeking an order for the payment of his medical expenses, N2 billion for damages, and a public apology from Odumodublvck through all his social media platforms as well as two national newspapers.

The trial is now scheduled to resume on April 8, 2026, when both parties are expected to present their cases.
