The families of Longwilliams Yebusika from Kalangabiri in the Edein War Canoe House, Ogoloma, and Bietonye/Dimatoru from the Pereibi War Canoe House, Oba Polo all in Okrika Local Government Area, Rivers State have announced the passing of Mrs. Fyne Longwilliams.

Mrs. Longwilliams, a cherished member of these prominent lineages, transitioned to eternal glory on August 19, 2025. Her families expressed profound grief while celebrating her impactful life in a heartfelt public notice.

Funeral arrangements have been outlined for Thursday, November 13, 2025, with the following schedule:

  • 7:00 AM: The body will depart from the Military Hospital and proceed to her residence at Okilton Estate, off Ada George Road, Rumuokwuta.
  • 9:45 AM: Arrival at the Rivers State Ecumenical Centre, Abonnema Wharf Road, Port Harcourt.
  • 10:00 AM: Funeral service at the Rivers State Ecumenical Centre.
  • Following the service: Interment at Port Harcourt Cemetery, off Aggrey Road, Port Harcourt.

The announcement was signed by her husband, S. Longwilliams Esq., on behalf of the bereaved families. Tributes and condolences may be directed through the family representatives in Okrika LGA.
