Bola Ahmed Tinubu has appointed a young Lagos based lawyer and a strong supporter of Peter Obi, Marcus-Obiene Fernández into his cabinet.

The appointment of Marcus-Obiene Fernández to the role of Special Assistant on Justice Sector Reforms And ICT/Digital and Innovative Technology by the Tinubu administration had sparked reactions last week.

Fernandez Marcus-Obiene is a lawyer in technology and a partner at Tsedaqah Attorneys.

Many Obi supporters expressed disappointment as Marcus-Obiene Fernández was considered one of the most vocal advocates for the Labour Party presidential candidate during the election campaigns.
