A legal practitioner, Nnaebuka Nwaeze, has congratulated the NBA Women Forum on the occasion of its 6th Annual General Conference, describing the theme as timely and reflective of the evolving demands of leadership within the legal profession.

In a goodwill message, Nwaeze noted that the theme, “Time to Gain: Building a Culture of Leadership, Legacy & Support,” underscores the need for a shift from mere participation to impactful leadership that builds systems, shapes institutions, and sustains long-term progress.

He emphasised that leadership within the Bar should translate into enduring institutional value, stressing the importance of mentorship, inclusion, and collective advancement in strengthening the profession.

Citing Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, Nwaeze reiterated that sustainable progress is best achieved through collaboration, noting that the strength of the legal profession lies in unity and deliberate support among its members.

He commended the NBA Women Forum for consistently creating platforms for meaningful dialogue and for amplifying the voice and contributions of women within the Bar.

Nwaeze also praised the leadership and organising committee for convening what he described as an intellectually engaging and professionally transformative conference scheduled to hold in Kano State.

He further called on the Nigerian Bar Association Secretariat to function as a responsive and service-driven hub that actively supports the NBA Women Forum and other fora, with a view to empowering members and strengthening the legal profession as a whole.
