The new Legal year of the Federal high court in Nigeria will commence on 12 October this year at Nasarawa, Nasarawa state.
According to a release issued by the chief Judge of the Federal high court in Nigeria,Justice Ibrahim Ndahi Auta. the new Legal year will be preceded with prayers in both the Church and Mosque in Lafia, the Nasarawa state capital.
The prayers will be followed by a judges’ conference.
For the past two months the courts have been on vacation.
Only two judges attended to matters of extreme importance,especially matters that border on fundamental human rights.
