Some suspected thugs on Monday stormed the Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly.
The thugs who were reportedly sponsored by some aggrieved lawmakers disrupted plenary in the process.
The aggrieved lawmakers are alleged to be those whose seats were declared vacant by the Speaker of the House.
According to the Clerk of the House, a notice had earlier been sent out that the sitting which was meant to hold on Tuesday (tomorrow) was rescheduled to hold on Monday.
The thugs were eventually dispersed by police officers who teargassed them and normalcy restored to the premises of the House of Assembly.
