According to a Public Notice issued by Chief Registrar Hajo Sarki Bello, Esq., the Court will cease accepting manual applications for appointment as Notaries Public from December 15, 2024. Starting January 2025, all applications must be submitted through the online platform exclusively. Official notary platform at https://notary.gov.ng
The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), through its National Publicity Secretary, Bridget Edokwe, Esq., has endorsed this digital transition, describing it as a commendable step in modernizing the legal profession’s processes.
