The group, in a statement issued by its spokesperson, Sesugh Akume, said Laura Boldrini, who is the President of the Chamber of Deputies/Speaker of the Italian Parliament will be joining the group on the 8th of May, in its continuous demand for the safe rescue of all abducted #Chibok schoolgirls in Boko Haram’s captivity. The group noted it still remains hopeful that the remaining 113 girls still missing will also be rescued following the successful release of 82 girls over the weekend. “The Honourable Laura Boldrini, President of the Chamber of Deputies/Speaker of the Italian Parliament will be joining the #BringBackOurGirls movement at our daily sit-out today, 8 May at Unity Fountain Abuja, at 5 pm,” the statement reads. It therefore called on those who empathise and support the movement to join them in solidarity for the sit-out.]]>
