A former National Officer of the Nigerian Bar Association, Okey Leo Ohagba, Esq., has extended warm felicitations to the Nigerian Bar Association Women Forum (NBAWF) on the occasion of its 2026 Annual General Conference holding in Kano.

In a statement, Ohagba congratulated the Hajiya Princess Huwaila Mohammed-led Executive Committee, the 2026 AGC Planning Committee, the Local Organising Committee, and members of the Forum for convening the conference.

He noted that the theme of this year’s conference, “Time to Gain: Building a Culture of Leadership, Legacy and Support,” reflects the growing global emphasis on women empowerment, leadership inclusion, and institutional support within the legal profession.

Ohagba described the conference as a vital platform for advancing leadership, fostering collaboration, and promoting the continuous growth and development of women in the Bar.

According to him, initiatives of the NBAWF play a critical role in shaping a more inclusive, equitable, and progressive legal community.

He commended the Forum’s leadership for its sustained contributions to professional development, excellence, and empowerment within and beyond the legal profession.

Ohagba also wished participants a successful, enriching, and impactful conference.
