In an appointment letter sighted by TheNigeriaLawyer, dated 4th August, 2022 and signed by Obu Dr. Austin Ndigwe MON, JP, the Eze Uzu III, Anthony Malik, SAN was selected as the Dikeora of Awka Ancient Kingdom after a successful screening by the Akwa Council of Kingmakers. The letter reads in part that “Sequel to your successful by the Akwa Council of Kingmakers, I wish to formally congratulate you for having the honour of being selected to receive an honorary CHIEFTAINCY TITLE from the Awka Ancient Kingdom”.
According to the letter, the ceremony will take place during the Otite Annual Yam Festival of Awka on September 10th, 2022 at the Palace of Obi Dr. Austin Ndigwe MON, JP, the Eze Uzu III of Awka by 12 noon Prompt.
Further information as regards the event will be communicated through the Palace PRO, the letter noted.
