Senator Margery Chuba-Okadigbo has toured the Lawyers Mass-Housing and Land-Banking Scheme, where she expressed delight at the level of development recorded at the estate and the number of families that have already moved into their homes.

During the visit, the project team conducted the former senator around the estate and briefed her on the vision behind the scheme, which is targeted at providing affordable housing, long-term investment opportunities and sustainable income options for lawyers, professionals and interested members of the public.

The team also used the opportunity to introduce her to the Hope-House Free Urban Accommodation Initiative, a social impact project that has been running for 18 years. According to the organisers, the initiative is designed to provide shelter support for vulnerable persons and promote dignity through access to accommodation.

They further disclosed that a twin duplex has been reconstructed into 10 ensuite rooms for another Hope-House project, which is expected to be launched in December.

Senator Chuba-Okadigbo was also briefed on the “Sabificate-To-Certificate Scheme,” described by the promoters as a tested model for human capital development and poverty eradication.

The administrators of the Lawyers Mass-Housing and Land-Banking Scheme said only four plots are currently left under the ongoing ₦1 million discount promo, urging interested persons to take advantage of the limited offer.

They explained that subscribers do not need to live in Abuja or have an immediate residential need in Abuja before investing in the scheme.

According to them, interested persons can acquire a plot and have the project engineers remodel the structure internally into blocks of flats or self-contained rooms, which can then be rented out to tenants or listed on Airbnb as a permanent income stream for retirement or long-term financial planning.

The organisers also announced a 5% facilitator’s fee for anyone who refers interested buyers to the scheme.

They assured prospective subscribers that the title to the land is solid and FCDA-approved, with genuine approvals, including FCDA Development Control-approved building plans.

Interested persons were encouraged to come on board and take advantage of the flexible payment plan, which allows payment in instalments for up to two years.
