*Calls For Memoranda, Fixes November 12 As Deadline

In a publication  sighted by  TheNigerialawyer which was signed by Senator Micheal Opeyemi Bamidele, the Nigerian Senate Committee on Judiciary, Human Rights and Legal Matters is inviting the stakeholders and members of the general public hearing on Legal Practitioner’s Act CAP, L11 LFN 2004 (REPEAL AND RE-ENACTMENT) BILL, 2021 (SB.815); Legal Education ( CONSOLIDATION, ETC.) Act L10, LFN 2004 (AMENDMENT) BILL 2021 (SB.820); and Legal Aid Council Act, 2011 (AMENDMENT) Bill,2021 (SB.560).

The Public Hearing is scheduled to hold on Monday, 15th  November 2021 by 11:AM prompt and it is taking place at the  Senate Conference Hall 231, 2nd Floor, New Building, National Assembly, Abuja.

The Special Guest of Honour is Senator Ahmed Lawan, the President of the Senate. Stakeholders and interested members of the public are requested to submit twenty (20) hard copies and a softcopy  of memoranda to the committee secretariat in Room 2.4, 2nd Floor, Senate Wing (WHITE HOUSE) National Assembly Complex, Abuja . on or before Friday 12th of November 2021 or an advance copy can be forwarded to senatecommiteeonjudiciary@gmail.com for softcopy of the bills you can check it at https://placbillstrack.org/senatecommiteejhrim-publichearingbills
