The Senate on Wednesday adjourned plenary till September 15 to enable members enjoy their annual vacation.

President of the Senate, Dr Ahmad Lawan, made this known after an extended sitting of the upper legislative chamber that lasted till 5.30pm.

He, however, said the various committees of the Senate will be working during vacation “to attend to urgent matters that require their attention”.
