Plots of land belonging to a former Attorney-General of Benue State have been opened for inspection in Abuja under the Lawyers in Business Mass Housing and Land-Banking Scheme.

The organisers disclosed that the plots are now ready for decking and allocation, with several senior lawyers already subscribing to the scheme through flexible payment options designed to enable participants to build alternative income streams and provide accommodation for staff.

According to information released by the promoters, subscribers can secure a plot with a 50 per cent initial deposit, which also protects buyers from a scheduled price increment expected to take effect from March 1, 2026. The outstanding balance can be spread over a period of up to two years through monthly instalments.

The scheme also offers a five per cent facilitator’s fee to individuals who successfully refer new subscribers.

Inspection and further allocations have been scheduled for Friday, January 30, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm; Saturday, January 31, from 7:00 am to 10:00 am and 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm; and Sunday, February 1, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Interested persons may also book alternative dates and times.

The meeting point and temporary entrance to the estate are through VON Estate Junction along Airport Road, Abuja.

Chief Silas E. Agbara, Esq., Senior Associate at M.I. Dikko, SAN & Associates, Secretary of the NBA National Legal Entrepreneurship Committee, and Administrator of the Lawyers in Business Institute, confirmed the development and encouraged interested legal practitioners to participate.

He noted that the initiative is aimed at promoting financial independence and long-term investment opportunities for members of the legal profession.

Further details and enquiries can be made through the organisers, while interested participants have also been invited to join a dedicated WhatsApp group for updates and coordination.
