Richard Adamu Tallen, the only son of former Minister of Women Affairs, Dame Pauline Tallen has reportedly passed away at the age of 42.

Richard’s demise occurred on Sunday morning, October 6 at Cedarcrest Hospital in Abuja, where he was hospitalized.

According to the family, he was placed on oxygen in the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit (ICU) on Friday night before succumbing to his illness.

Although the cause of Richard’s death remains unknown as of the time of filing this report, his alma mater, the Vom Old Boys’ Association (VOBA), described his passing as a “sudden” and “sad” event.

VOBA while paying tribute posted on their Facebook page, “On a very sad note, we regret to announce the sudden passing of our member, Mr. Richard Adamu Tallen.

“Eternal rest grant unto him, oh Lord, may perpetual light shine upon him.

“May the soul of Richard and all departed VOBA members rest in peace. Amen.”

Richard, a computer science graduate from a United States university, left behind a wife and three children.
