Retired Justice Alaba Omolaye-Ajileye will deliver the 9th annual bar lecture of the Badagry Branch of the Nigerian Bar Association today.

He will speak on “Leveraging Emerging Legal Challenges to the Rule of Law in the Prevailing Social-Economic Realities in Nigeria.” The lecture is part of events marking the celebration of the branch’s 9th Annual Law Week.
The occasion will be chaired by Chief Executive Officer of Renaissance Law Publishers, Mr. Taiwo Kupolati, SAN. Other events slated for the week include visits to correctional facilities, picnics, and a Bar Dinner.
Justice Ajileye retired from the Kogi State High Court bench in February this year and has since joined the faculty of Baze University. He is renowned for his expertise in electronic evidence.
According to B.C. Okoro, Chairman of the Law Week Planning Committee, members are looking forward to an intellectually engaging lecture from the highly revered Justice Ajileye. The lecture will be held at the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria in Lagos.
