President Muhammadu Buhari has presented a supplementary national budget to the National Assembly. He said it should be funded with virement of costs already voted to items in the 2018 Appropriation Act. The President specifically asked the legislature not to increase the size of the 2018 Appropriation Act from the current N9.21tn but to vire N228bn from the N578bn voted to projects inserted by the lawmakers.
