The Institute of Chartered Mediators and Conciliators (ICMC) has announced it is accepting registrations for a training course on resolving workplace conflicts through mediation.

The 18 credit unit program aims to equip professionals with skills for managing disputes in organizational settings.

The course will cover the causes and types of conflicts that commonly arise in work environments. It will teach best practices for conflict resolution, including critical mediation techniques that help prevent escalation.

With many employees now working remotely or hybrid, mediation training enables managers to effectively handle conflicts that arise between team members. Smooth functioning despite disagreements improves organizational health.

The program is recommended for employers, managers, HR professionals, and employees in leadership roles. Upon completing the course, participants will gain a certification from the reputable ICMC.

The member fee is N70,000 while non-members pay N90,000. The institute said interested persons can contact them by phone or email to register and make payments to the provided Zenith Bank account.
