The Nigerian Bar Association Section On Business Law (NBA-SBL) in collaboration with the Nigerian Stock Exchange and Institute of Directors will be hosting a webinar on the upgraded portal of the Corporate Affairs Commission.

This is contained in a statement issued by the NBA-SBL Chairman which was made available to TheNigeriaLawyer.

Meanwhile, the webinar is scheduled to hold on Thursday by 11:00AM.

The statement reads:

In line with the Corporate Affairs Commission’s implementation plan for Companies and Allied Matters Act (CAMA) 2020, the Commission has launched a new online platform/software to accommodate the changes introduced by CAMA 2020 on the Business entities. The platform will also enable CAC Stakeholders perform all post registration filings electronically.

Considering the existing cordial relationship between the CAC and the NBA-Section on Business Law (NBA-SBL) over the years, the Registrar General of CAC, Mr. Garba Abubakar has graciously agreed to do a demo of the new online platform to the SBL Community, Organised Private Sector (OPS) and other stakeholders.

In view of this, the NBA-SBL in collaboration with the Nigeria Stock Exchange (NSE) and the Institute of Directors of Nigeria (IoD) is inviting you to participate in a webinar as well as ask pertinent questions, make comments and/or suggestions that will further enhance the operations of the CAC as follows:
