Over the years we have seen different conflicts in Nigeria, however, the most prevalent are the communal disputes. Nigeria been a multi-ethnic society is bound to have diverse ethnic and religious disputes. These communal conflicts have deteriorated to the point of distorting regional and national peace and security.

The impacts of these crises have especially been the loss of lives, the displacement of people and the destruction of properties. With these conflicts evolving over the years, the greatest challenge in resolving communal conflicts is how to maintain a healthy balance between both sides of the divide.

What this course aims to do is to analyze the causes of communal conflicts, factors that cause escalation of communal conflicts, learning how to balance the differences, wills, and capabilities of the disputing individuals, groups or communities and how mediators can provide multi-faceted solutions to aid both parties arrive at mutually satisfying and sustainable solutions.

Course fee: N60,000 – Members (Sixty Thousand Naira only)
N75,000 – Non-members (Seventy-five -Thousand Naira Only)
