RE: Even Nigeria’s Court Of Appeal Does Not Think That Mobilisation of Court Bailiffs is Unlawful: A Reply to Sylvester Udemezue By Douglas Ogbankwa Esq.

I have read the piece written by Sylvester Udemezue (hereafter called “Udems.”),with the above indicated caption, which I find quite ludicrous.

The Major Allegation of Udems against my person, is that I plagiarized his work (which I did not even read ),a quite weighty allegation to make with out him cross checking his facts .

Let it be known to Udems that I do not read him and I have never read him ,except of course for the above indicated piece ,where he mentioned my name .

I read those who I can learn from !I do not go about reading every tom ,dick and harry and I do not reckon Udems as one of the Major Online Law Writers in Nigeria.We know ourselves .

I find it quite suspect that Udems will think that he has a monopoly of thoughts and a monopoly of knowledge .I am a development enthusiast and indeed with out sounding immodest ,I have reeled out novel templates at the Bar as an Official of the Bar that are being replicated nation wide.

I deserve an apology from Udems ,because I do not know how I can copy an idea that is diametrically opposite to mine.While Udems indicated in his article , that the Court of Appeal says that mobolization of Bailiffs are legal,my contention has been that mobilisation of Bailiffs is illegal and unknown to Law and I maintain same.

I deserve an unreserved apology from Udems for his defamatory remarks on my person ,failure of which I will take all legal remedies available to me to Protect my name,reputation and image ,which I have garnered over the yeeas and which I will guard jealously,with all legal arsenal at my disposal.
