An Abuja-based Senior Advocate of Nigeria and the Chairman of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) welfare Committee, Mr. Y.C. Maikyau SAN is facilitating with Muslims across the country as they Mark the month of Ramadan.

He equally calls on Muslims in the world to cherish the injunctions of Allah as contained in the Holy Quran and to imbibe the life of Prophet Muhammed (PBUH) who was just, peaceful and persistent in seeking and doing good.
He enjoined lawyers across the country especially the Muslim lawyers to embrace love, peace, charity, and cheerfulness that is accorded the month of Ramadan. The learned silk urged Muslims and lawyers in Nigeria to rededicate their life to the course of Islam and pray for the fast healing of the land which has been polluted by different atrocities especially the COVID -19 pandemic which has ravaged the economy of most countries in the world.
He noted that “the Month of Ramadan offers the perfect opportunity for the Muslim faithful to take stock of their actions over the year; seek forgiveness; rededicate faith to God, the Almighty; and pray for His divine intervention in all ramifications”.
The learned silk felicitates with the Muslim brothers and sisters on witnessing this blessed month, as he implores all to include our dear country – Nigeria in their prayers throughout this month of Ramadan.
He prayed that as we continue to grapple with the prevailing security challenges. May God accept the Ibadah of our fasting Muslim Ummah, grant us peace in Nigeria, Africa, and the World at large.
