The Management of Redeemer’s University, Ede, Osun State has appointed Professor Bukola Akinola as the new Dean, Faculty of Law for a two–year tenure.

Akinola’s tenure takes effect from 1st August, 2021. He takes over from Professor Olusegun Yerokun whose tenure comes to an end on 31 July, 2021. Akinola’s appointment comes with full paraphernalia of office as applicable in Redeemer’s University, Ede, Osun State.

Akinola assumed office as a Professor of Law and Law Clinician at the Redeemer’s University.

His wealth of experience as a former Deputy Director of Academics at the Nigerian Law School and the Head of Private and Property Law at ELIZADE University will be brought to bear in the administration of the Faculty of Law at RUN. He holds a Ph.D. in Comparative Company Law from the Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Nigeria.

His research interests are in Antitrust Law, Corporate Law Practice, Legal Education, Professional Ethics and skills. He is the Head of Modfait Legal Consult, a research and consultancy outfit.

He is a practising lawyer and the Editor – in – Chief of African Journal of Law, Ethics and Education. He is a mentor and career Coach.
