President Muhammadu Buhari has congratulated Mr. Olumide Akpata on his success in the concluded NBA elections.

This is contained in a Tweet from his verified handle which was sighted by TheNigeriaLawyer.

While congratulating him, he noted that the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) is crucial in the quest for democracy.

“I congratulate Olumide Akpata on his election as the President of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), a crucial stakeholder in our democracy.”

Meanwhile, the President assured the new leadership of its cooperation.

“I wish him every success in the new position, and assure the new leadership of the continued cooperation of our administration.”

In addition, in a State House Press Release signed by Femi Adesina, Special Adviser to the President (Media & Publicity), he stated that the President wishes Olumide Akpata well on his recent success as he leads the Bar.

The statement reads:
