* Condemns arrest of Ex-Governors Lamido, Babangida The Senate caucus of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has raised alarm over plans by powerful people in the Presidency to arrest Deputy Senate President Ike Ekweremadu and former PDP governors following an intelligence report. At a briefing with Senate Correspondents, Spokesman of the Caucus, Senator Enyinanya Abaribe read a statement that condemned the move saying Nigeria is not prepared to head back to the days of late maximum ruler, General Sani Abacha. They also condemned the arrest of Ex-Governors Sule Lamido of Jigawa state and Babangida Aliyu of Niger State for corruption charges which they believe are all cooked up against the PDP leaders.
