*Hangs Out with Friends, Associates and Colleagues At Alu Avenue At Side-lines of NBA Kano 2022 Law Week

The Chairman of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) Welfare Committee was on Monday given a resounding warm welcome to the commercial city of Kano.
Maikyau who was one of the guests shortlisted to grace the 2022 Law week of the Kano branch of the NBA was welcomed by lawyers from across the ancient city as they met and socialized at Alu Avenue in Kano.
According to Sani Ammani, The hangout of legal minds was scheduled for 7pm, however the venue was already filled up before time as the lawyers eagerly awaited the arrival of Y.C. Maikyau.
He wrote; “A few minutes to 7:00 pm, we heard the trumpeter announce the entrance of YC Maikyau through the sound of his algaita, a special musical trumpet used for the members of the royal family.
‘Barka da zuwa Maikyau,’ the trumpet said, ‘you are welcome Maikyau.’ It then went ahead to sound different tones that captured the attention of people and made them face the direction of the trumpeter. And there he was, YC Maikyau with his entourage walking towards us.”
Upon his arrival, Maikyau proceeded to greet everyone present at the hangout dubbed “Hangout With Y.C.Maikyau” and hosted by “Kano Friends of Maikyau”.

The event was further coloured by beautiful dance displays by Koroso dancers who demonstrated awesome acrobatic moves. With the excited tempo, the dancers were joined by Maikyau to the applause and cheers of those present.
“A few minutes after, the Koroso Dancers came in and danced with acrobatic moves.
‘So far, we’ve entertained you,’ one of the dancers said, it’s now your turn to entertain us.’ YC Maikyau accepted the gesture, stepped out, and together with friends, unbelievably danced the Koroso. His steps were right and his vibe was positive.”
Afterwards, Maikyau was decorated with a Baba riga accompanied with great excitement and joy in the air.
Before leaving, Maikyau appreciated the people of Kano for the very warm reception and hospitality, and for accepting to hangout with him despite the tight schedule of the ongoing NBA Law Week.
