The word ‘Peace’ is ‘divine’ i.e. God-given’ (free of charge) and goes beyond ‘globalisation’ (that is to say, it goes beyond ‘world-peace) rather it is a ‘universal peace’ according to God’s natural justice, yet, in the world today, the search for ‘peace’ is continuous and almost every: human; government; and society of humans is fully involved. Almost every home of mankind is in search for ‘peace’. Little does man know and or understand that ‘peace’ is innate and is divine. It is ‘ordinary’ and symbolises a ‘special gift’ from Almighty God to His creations. The search for peace in the world societies is tireless and relentless. Man must understand the purpose of God and His wisdom behind offering mankind ‘peace’ on earth. Man must see and view peace always as a ‘divine treasure’. Once it is lost or missing, there are definitely ‘repercussions’ or ‘consequences’. Is it actually true that man has lost or misplaced this divine treasure as of today? In the world today and throughout the continents where man exits, peace has always been the mantra.
In fact, almost everyone would say ‘I want peace’ and ‘I do not want ‘problem’ or ‘trouble’! Why then is peace so important to mankind?! God Almighty (as a way of establishing peace on earth and among mankind) creates an environment for man: different from the environment which He has created for animals; different from the environment which He has created for plants; different from the environment which He has created for fishes; different from the environment which He has created for waters; different from the environment which He has created for birds; different from the environment which He has created for insects; different from the environment which He has created of those unseen creatures of God. All these, are within God’s divine wisdom. One would observe that; of the above creatures and many more not mentioned above, mankind seems the only creation in search for peace. Why man?! What has man done to be so confused and lost in himself?! It seems the ‘devil’ (satan) is the greatest enemy of mankind! Funnily, Satan has not promised to deceive or mislead the animals, the insects, the birds, the plants, the waters, the other creations other than mankind, except mankind! Then, what has man done to deserve this from the devil?! Man has to know that the devil (satan) is out for mankind in vengeance! Man has to indeed always be at alert! Man has to always be vigilant of that devil and all the tools and or weapons that he uses to mislead man away from his divine treasure ‘i.e. peace’ if man actually desires peace on earth or desires to continue to enjoy that peace on earth. The issue of ‘building peace’ or ‘peacebuilding’ explains further how confused man has become about his divine treasure ‘i.e. peace’, hence, to me, might seem inappropriate to use rather ‘sustaining the peace that already exists on earth’ is much appropriate! Why building the peace that you already have and of course, which God has already built since He created the heavens and the earth?! Whereas, God has already built the peace and has bestowed same on mankind as His ‘divine inheritance’ to mankind! The divine duty saddled on mankind by God is then for mankind to ‘sustain’ and ‘manage’ the already gifted peace! The words ‘to sustain’ means ‘to make something continue for some time without becoming less’. Synonym of ‘maintain’. See: Oxford Advanced Learner’s Dictionary, 6th Edition, page 1209. While the words ‘to build’ by the same Dictionary, at page 143, means ‘to create or develop something’. In any case, whether man sees himself ‘building peace’ or ‘sustaining peace’ does not really matter to me. What matters is ‘having the peace’! The consequences of man subjecting himself to the whims of the devil is a reason why man continues to experience a reverse of peace on earth. Every man is an ‘Ambassador of peace’ on earth and a representative of God Almighty on earth! Man must cherish peace on earth at all time! The devil’s fashioned weapons on earth against mankind are enormous! It only requires man to be vigilant and be at alert to be able to realise the devil in operation or the devil’s vengeance against him! Some of the weapons devised by the devil on earth against man causing man to lose his divine treasure are: bribery and corruption; injustice; bloodshed of innocent souls; crimes and criminalities; oppression; vengeance; bullying; mercilessness; abuse of power; selfishness; greed; among others. Some of these are also consequences of ‘lack of peace’ on the mankind’s world! Therefore, once any of these is seen in man’s society, it is a clear show or indication that man is likely not to enjoy the divine peace or man is likely to have lost his divine peace! The society has established laws to guide mankind apart from the divine laws yet man is still in loss! The reason is not far-fetched: devil at work! Therefore, man must rescue himself from the devil (his open enemy) for a continuous enjoyment of God’s given gift of peace! Man must desist from all those tendencies of committing evils and atrocities! Man must get himself always united with God and with God only! Man must detach himself from any relationship with the devil and from any disobedience to God and disobedience to the ‘rule of law’ of even the manmade laws especially those laws that are not opposed to God’s given laws! Man must refute the tendencies of being used as an advocate or ambassador of the devil by the devil. Man must rethink, reawake, redecide, resolve, and redecide about himself! Man must return back to God for a continuous enjoyment of the ‘divine treasure i.e. peace! Therefore, it is very easy for man to continue to enjoy God’s divine treasure if man wishes! The decision is that of man! The scale upon which God creates and or establishes this treasure of ‘peace’ is ‘justice for all’ without ‘discrimination’ on the ground of: religion; race; gender; birth; colour; nation; continent; height; age; etc.! Every man has entitlement to this treasure: the poor among mankind; the rich among mankind; the elite among mankind; the lay-person among mankind; the gender; the young and the old; etc. Therefore, man has the duty to place himself in position of always enjoying God’s divine treasure (i.e. ‘peace’)! This divine treasure does not reduce based on how much man enjoys or benefits from it rather, it increases!
In the world today, it is possible for mankind therein to always find peace within himself, his family, his community, his locality, his nation and the globe at large: man, only has to choose between ‘peace’ or the ‘consequences of lack of peace’! Peace is beneficial! Peace is healthy! Peace is divine! Peace is positive! Peace is cheap compared to its consequences; for instance: violence and war are cost to undertake!
Finally, as ‘an ambassador of peace’ and a ‘representative of God Almighty’ (THE VICEGERENT’ on earth to ensure that peace is continuous to manifest on earth, I encourage and admonish myself and my fellow mankind to always abide by the ‘rules of ‘peace’’ and to propagate peace on earth; for peace is indeed a divine treasure bestowed on mankind by Almighty God! We should rather be grateful to God for this divine treasure rather than proving ‘infidelity’!
