The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has skipped the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) on the list of cleared candidates for the November 6 Anambra governorship election.

the Commission, in a statement by its National Commissioner and Chairman Information and Voter Education Committee, Festus Okoye, cited Court Order for exclusion of the party.

Also missing is on the list is factional candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) Professor Chukwuma Soludo.

Soludo emerged winner of the APGA faction loyal to Governor Willie Obiano.

However the Commission cleared the candidate of the other APGA faction Chukwuma Micheal Umeoji for the poll, leaving the fate of Soludo, a former Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Governor, hanging.
