The Court of Appeal of Nigeria has issued a Practice Direction excluding the period of the strike of the Judiciary Staff Union of Nigeria, JUSUN, from the computation of time.

Recall that the JUSUN was embarked on strike from 6th of April till 14th of May.

The President of the Court of Appeal, Hon. Justice Monica Bolna’an Dongban-Mensem, has said that the period will not be counted for the purpose of computing time for filing of court processes and payment of default fees
