Oyo State High Court will begin the 2018 annual vacation on July 16, according to a statement by its Information Officer, Mrs. Comfort Udoh, in Ibadan on Tuesday. The statement quoted the state Chief Judge, Justice Munta Abimbola, as directing that the vacation would start on July 16 and end on August 27. Udoh said in the statement that only urgent civil actions may be heard during this period, “if a judge, at the request of all the parties concerned, agrees to hear such actions”. She quoted Munta as citing the powers conferred on him by paragraph 4(b) of Order 45 of the High Court (Civil Procedure) rules, 2010, to make the order.]]>
