Oyinkansola Badejo-Okusanya, SAN, FCIArb, has taken her campaign for the presidency of the Nigerian Bar Association to five cities in 70 hours, holding meetings, branch visits, events and one-on-one engagements with lawyers across the country.

The campaign tour took her to Abuja, Asaba, Aba, Onitsha and Enugu, where she interacted with members of the Bar and shared her vision for what she described as a bolder, more responsive and more effective NBA.

According to her campaign team, the tour provided an opportunity to listen directly to lawyers and understand their concerns about welfare, professional growth, economic dignity and the future of legal practice in Nigeria.

The campaign said one clear message emerged from the engagements: lawyers want an NBA that delivers more, listens more and works better for its members.

It noted that the conversations across the five cities were honest, encouraging and reflective of the desire among lawyers for practical leadership focused on real solutions.

Badejo-Okusanya’s campaign is anchored on restoring economic dignity to the legal profession, expanding opportunities for lawyers and building a Bar where members can earn better, live better and practise better.

The campaign said the 70-hour tour reinforced the need for leadership that understands the challenges of lawyers and is prepared to address them through practical and inclusive programmes.

“The journey continues,” the campaign message stated, urging lawyers to support Oyinkansola Badejo-Okusanya, SAN, FCIArb, for President of the Nigerian Bar Association.

Her campaign is being promoted under the hashtags #BBOLD, #MrsB, #TheBoldTribe, #ABolderBarThatWorksForEveryone, #EarnBetterLiveBetterPractiseBetter and #CampaignTrail.
