Ogunbodede, in an open letter, said it would serve the state better if all the aspirants were allowed to test their popularity. The letter partly read, “Our people in Ondo State have hitherto conducted the campaign for the office of the governor in harmony until you deliberately fell into the trap of strife. Today, as you can see, your action has brought tension, quarrels and division. “Strife opens the door to every evil work. It’s the enemy’s trap to keep people from victory. “As a leader, you did not need to lead our party in Ondo State into the trap of strife. You should rise above it, by simply dropping this your poisonous endorsement before it turns into something bigger than it needs to be. You don’t have to sink down to this level to prove that you’re right.”]]>
